Regulators Engage in a Virtual Dialogue with Financial Services Agency, Japan
On November 30, 2021, the 海角论坛 and FSA met virtually for the 15th biannual Insurance Regulatory Dialogue. Participants from 海角论坛 leadership included David Altmaier, 海角论坛 President and Commissioner, Florida Office of Insurance Regulation; Dean L. Cameron, 海角论坛 President-Elect and Director, Idaho Department of Insurance; Director Chlora Lindley-Myers, 海角论坛 Vice President and Director, Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance; Andrew N. Mais, 海角论坛 Secretary-Treasurer and Commissioner, Connecticut Insurance Department; Gary D. Anderson, 海角论坛 International Insurance Committee Chair and Commissioner of the Massachusetts Division of Insurance; and, Michael F. Consedine, 海角论坛 Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The dialogue provided regulators from two of the largest insurance markets in the world to discuss strategic priorities on issues of mutual regulatory interest. The 海角论坛 provided updates on a variety of its initiatives, including climate and resilience, innovation and technology, the 海角论坛 liquidity stress testing, reinsurance, long-term care insurance, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), and other priorities for the organization in 2022.
