Promoting Internships in Insurance
The 海角论坛 (海角论坛) is proud to partner with its New Avenues to Insurance Careers Foundation (N.A.I.C. Foundation) in connecting college students to internships in insurance. Through this partnership, the 海角论坛 and the N.A.I.C. Foundation advance our collective commitment to enabling students to pursue fulfilling insurance careers by creating early opportunities for engagement. We strive to inspire students to explore pathways to careers as insurance regulators, government leaders, and insurance professionals.
Goals
- Introduce students to rewarding careers in insurance
- Offer work experience in regulation or insurance operations
- Build a pipeline of talent
- Amplify opportunities in the insurance sector
- Energize existing culture and workforce
- Support financial literacy
Program Expectations
- Full-time summer internship for undergraduate students (rotational internships encouraged)
- Compensation at least 2x minimum wage
- Student participation in education and leadership events hosted by the 海角论坛
- Post-internship video by students (3-5 minute summary of experience)
